2002 Gibson Les Paul Standard Premium Plus Desert Burst

This 2002 Gibson Les Paul Standard Premium Plus is in excellent cosmetic condition. This instrument shows some light signs of play wear and age including some scratches that aren't through the finish on the back of the body (which are difficult to capture in photos) and tarnishing of the pickup covers, bridge and tailpiece. The two-piece maple top is beautifully flamed, is in terrific shape and is very clean and vibrant. This guitar has a superb feeling medium C shaped neck profile with a 1 11/16” nut width. This neck is super comfortable with nice rounded shoulders and is very easy and fun to play. The fret wire is in excellent condition and is tall and free of any dents or divots. This instrument has been professionally set up in our shop and it plays outstanding up and down the rosewood fingerboard with low smooth action and excellent intonation. All of the electronics are in perfect working order and the original Gibson humbucking pickups sound fantastic. This guitar is housed in its original hard shell case, weighs 10lb 1oz, and is ready for another 23 years of faithful service!
