1956 Gibson Les Paul Standard Goldtop

Description

1956 Gibson Les Paul Standard Goldtop with natural back in 100% original condition less a pro refret. P-90 Tune-a-matic Goldtops are a popular guitar in today's marketplace. This guitar is lightweight at 8lbs 4 oz. and in Excellent condition. There is a two piece flame maple top which can be seen under the gold. Too bad this top was covered up it would have made a Killer Burst. Beautiful Brazilian fretboard. The neck profile has one of the nicest carves I've seen in quite a while. The shoulders of the neck are blended effortlessly into the radius as it curves up to the binding. That means the guitar plays effortlessly. Untouched solder joints in the control cavity. The guitar is very resonant and both P-90s are well balanced and sound great. The neck pickup is exceptional. Comes with the original brown hard case also in great condition.
