This 2016 Gibson Les Paul Special in classic TV Yellow captures everything players love about the late-1950s double-cut design—raw P-90 tone, lightweight resonance, and stripped-down rock ‘n’ roll simplicity.
Made in the USA, this model features a solid mahogany body and neck with a rosewood fingerboard, finished in a thin nitrocellulose lacquer that allows the wood to breathe and resonate freely.
The dual P-90 pickups deliver the perfect blend of snarl and sweetness—tight lows, punchy mids, and sparkling top end—making this Special equally at home in blues, punk, or roots rock settings. The wraparound bridge provides incredible sustain and straightforward tuning stability.
The guitar weighs 7 pounds, 14 ounces and is extremely comfortable to play with its 60's neck profile.
This example is completely original, in excellent condition with a couple dings to show that it has seen the light of day, and comes with a Washburn hard case for safe transport and storage. There are no changes, repairs, or issues. The frets show almost no use. The guitar set up perfectly with no issues. There is room in the truss rod for future neck relief adjustments.
