1963 Gibson Les Paul/SG Standard – Cherry

Can you believe the condition of this 1963 Gibson Les Paul/SG Standard in Cherry?! This one is an early ’63, so it still has a sideways vibrola, late ’62 pots, and a “Les Paul” branded truss rod cover, while also receiving patent no. pickups, a fuller neck, and a longer neck tenon. We recently purchased this guitar from its original owner’s son, and as you can see, it was very well taken care of and remains in excellent condition. There is evidence of buffing on this one hence how shiny it is but the finish remains original. With the exception of the pickup covers being off at some point this guitar remains original, and also comes in its original case with a strap and case key.
