1961 Gibson Les Paul/SG Custom Black #28129

Found in the Vault after many years in hiding. It needs a neck reset (loose joint-not broken, just loose), but has the original PAF's and hardware including a Bigsby. The Gold plating is rough, as is the finish in places, but the good news is we originally bought it from the late Herbie Herbert who said it was used by everyone in his Studio from Santana to Journey before the neck issue. Lots of Rock and Roll Historey in this 65 year old dog! Comes in the original brown hard case used on the early ones. We didn't take the pots out to check their dates, but they look original to me. Has 2 replaced knobs.
