Excellent condition featuring single cutaway weight-relieved mahogany body, bound maple top with Faded Pelham Blue finish, mahogany neck with SlimTaper profile, bound ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays and medium jumbo frets, Grover locking tuning machines, Modern contoured heel, black peghead face with pearl inlaid Gibson and Les Paul Model logos, serial number, Made in USA and Demo stamped on the back of the peghead, GraphTech nut, Burstbucker Pro neck pickup and Burstbucker Pro Plus bridge pickup, three way pickup selector switch with black tip, two volume controls and two tone controls with clear top hat knobs, four push/pull pots for humbucker/single coil P-90 switching and phase switching, Nashville tune-o-matic bridge, stop tailpiece, multi-ply black pickguard, chrome plated metal hardware, and original hard shell case with COA. This guitar weighs 8lb 8oz.
This Gibson Les Paul Modern is in excellent cosmetic condition and is set up in great playing order. The guitar was originally sold to a Gibson employee and is stamped DEMO on the back of the peghead, but has no noticeable flaws and is very clean and tidy. The Ultra-Modern weight relief makes this guitar exceptionally comfortable to play and the Gibson SlimTaper neck profile feels great in the hand. The frets are in excellent condition and don’t show any wear. This guitar has been set up and plays outstanding up and down the ebony fingerboard with low action and great intonation. The Burstbucker humbuckers sound fantastic and have a really nice, vintage, woody tone with plenty of articulation and the push/pull controls give you many additional tonal options. The Faded Pelham Blue top finish on this guitar is very attractive and definitely makes this Les Paul stand out in a crowd.
