2009 Gibson Les Paul R8 ’58 Reissue – Plain Top – Excellent Condition
Bay Area Vintage Guitars is proud to offer this excellent 2009 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul R8 ’58 Reissue, serial number 8 9368—a classic Historic model known for its substantial neck carve, rich tonal depth, and unmistakable Les Paul authority.
This R8 features a plain maple top with a traditional burst finish, paired with a full, rounded ’58 neck profile that delivers outstanding sustain and a confident, comfortable feel. The guitar is fitted with Gibson Custom Shop–wound PAF-style humbuckers, producing warm cleans, rich harmonics, and dynamic response that rewards both light touch and aggressive playing.

• ’58 Rounded / Chunky C neck profile
• Approx. 1.69" nut width
• Mahogany body with carved maple cap
• Rosewood fingerboard
• Custom Shop PAF humbuckers

Condition:
Excellent overall. One small chip near the neck strap lock and a few light surface scratches from very light use. Frets show minimal wear. Includes the original hard-shell case, Gibson Certificate of Authenticity, and all case candy.
