1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom "Non Made In USA Impressed"
Description
This is a 1969 Les Paul Custom from the transition period.
A three-piece mahogany neck with a small volute, lacking the “Made In USA” stamp on the headstock back yet, and featuring a pancake-style body back, represents the final specification from late 1969.
While showing signs of wear and weathering typical of vintage gear, it maintains excellent overall condition.
The frets have been replaced and playability is excellent.
The peg was once fitted with a different model, but has now been returned to the original Kluson “VX-501”.
The original Delrin bridge saddle has been replaced with a later brass saddle, and the strap pins have also been replaced with later ones.
