Beautiful Gibson Custom Shop 1958 Les Paul Reissue professionally converted by Historic Makeovers into a true 1959-spec Burst using their top-tier Real-Deal Series (RDS) package. Done by Kim LaFleur (RIP) in 2017. This one has a killer green lemon / dirty lemon top with excellent aging, light checking, and a very convincing vintage look.

The guitar plays and sounds outstanding with a perfect ’59 neck carve—not too big, not too small—and a dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. The Throbak KZ-115 MXV humbuckers sound great as always, with strong output and classic PAF character. A beautiful, dialed-in R8 that feels and responds like a great vintage Burst.

This guitar is complete with the original Lifton-style hardshell case, COA, Historic Makeovers certificate, and all paperwork as shown.

The RDS (Real-Deal Series) package includes the full treatment: corrected top carve and neck carve, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, hot hide-glue neck reset, vintage-style truss rod, Retrospec inlays, Royalite binding, new frets, nylon nut, vintage-correct finish, proper serial stamping and headstock silkscreen, and tasteful factory-style distressing. Everything that matters is done.
