Left Handed 2014 Gibson R9 Les Paul, Lemonburst, Special Order MTM, OHSC/COA, Beautiful Top!
Description
For Sale: Left Handed 2014 Gibson R9 Les Paul, Lemonburst, Gloss Finish, Nickel Hardware, Special Order / Made-to-Measure (MTM) in Gibson vernacular. I was going to keep this one, but medical bills are piling up.
This Les Paul has a really fine 5A top, very active flame at different angles and lighting. This guitar was barely played and shows no fretwear. There is a small ding and light scratch on the neck between the 5th and 6th frets, bass side. There are a handful of pencil tip-size marks on the back. Other than that, the guitar looks new and is probably cleaner than most new guitars hanging on the wall at your local music store, but I'll call it EXC+ to be on the safe side.
The guitar needs nothing and is ready to play - it was recently inspected and set-up with new strings by my friend with 50+ years experience with vintage guitars.
The guitar is light for a Les Paul, with a weight of just over 8 1/4 lbs, or 8 lbs, 5.2 oz to be exact as measured on a UPS Mettler Toledo scale (see pics).
This is one of the finer R9s I've had over the years, and I've sold a ton of R9s over the years. This is actually the 2nd 2014 MTM Lemonburst R9 I've had. The guitar has not even been drilled for a pickguard, which was part of the original MTM specs. The pickguard is included in the case.
Includes OHSC, COA, and all paperwork and tags.
