1955 Gibson J-160E Sunburst
Description
1955 Gibson J160-E Acoustic / Electric guitar. This is one of the early style guitars with the larger bridge adjusting wheels.
1955 is just 2nd year of production for this model as it debuted in 54. This is a nice and solid, crack-free example with a healthy top.
This guitar is structurally in very good condition and has recently been set up and tested.
It plays very well with adjustable and comfortable low action and has a "full-feeling" 1950's Gibson neck.
There is no damage or modifications and the P-90 pickup still works well. The guitar shows normal playing wear and patina.
The original small frets have some divots in the lower positions but it's still playing fine.
Comes in a Non-Original Hard Shell case that has a replaced handle.
The case is solid and fits and works fine but cosmetically shows its age too.
