1956 Gibson Florentine Electric Mandolin sunburst

Description

The Gibson Florentine Electric (designated EM-200 in 1960) features a solid carved top, mahogany body & neck and a Gibson “soapbox” single-coil P-90 pickup, with amber tone and volume controls. The pick guard is gone but this is a fine example of the earliest solid body Gibson electric mandolin, fully functional with a straight neck and minimal fret wear. This instrument is part of my personal collection. Comes with the original tan oblong case with pink interior and signed certificate of provenance.
