Here’s a beautiful and fully original 1966 Gibson Firebird XII in Sunburst! Less than 300 of these twelve string variants were shipped in its limited production window of 1966-67, and this one is a great example! It has all of the jangle and brightness you’d want in a twelve-string while remaining tonally balanced. These mini-humbuckers do a great job amplifying this guitar’s tone, and it sounds even more magical with a touch of reverb. The spacing is comfortable and overall playability is fantastic. The original Sunburst finish is in good shape, with light playwear, patina, and checking throughout.
