1965 Gibson Firebird III – Golden Mist Poly
Description
How vibey is this 1965 Gibson Firebird III in its original, patina’d Golden Mist Poly finish? This rare custom color is identical to Fender’s Shoreline Gold; however, Gibson used the Oldsmobile name “Golden Mist” in their catalog. This particular one has a cool look, with weather checking, light playwear, and yellowing of the clear throughout the guitar. Due to this narrow nut and big frets, this one is such a pleasure to play. These three P-90s are strong, manipulating this guitar’s sound from wooly and dark to bright and sharp. Thanks to the Non-Reverse redesign, this guitar is comfortable in hand without feeling off-balance. This guitar is completely original and free from any repairs or modifications.
Overall Condition: 7, playwear, weather checking, and patina
