1962 Gibson ES-345TDSV "Original Stop Tailpiece with Patent Appried For Pickups"
Description
This is a 1962 ES-345 with an original stop tailpiece and cherry red finish.
This cherry red finish, applied by Alinindai like the backs of '50s Burst Les Pauls, shows only minimal fading.
While there is some minor wear and weather checking typical of vintage gear,
it remains in excellent overall condition.
It also features a Patent Applied For pickup, commonly known as the P.A.F. pickup.
The original Varitone wiring has been canceled, the output changed from stereo to mono,
and the phase sound in the center position has been adjusted to a standard mixed tone.
Several peg buttons that had shrunk due to aging have been replaced.
