1964 Gibson ES-330 – Cherry
Description
Here’s a beautiful 1964 Gibson ES-330 in its original Cherry finish! Due to its fully hollow construction and P-90 pickups, the ES-330 boasts a dynamic, airy tone compared to its other ES counterparts. This particular guitar features a searing-hot P-90 in the neck position and a slightly mellower bridge pickup, offering some versatility. This original Cherry finish has faded tastefully into a “watermelon-y” shade and remains in great condition overall. Acoustically, it’s insane how loud and resonant this example is, and the amped-up sound is equally as incredible! This piece has had an extra strap button installed on the neck heel, but the rest of the guitar is entirely original.
Overall Condition: 8.5, mild fade, slight checking on the back of the guitar, patina
