Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul 1955 2025 NAMM Viceroy Brown
Description
No sales tax for US customers outside California.
This 2025 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul 1955 NAMM Show Limited Edition in Viceroy Brown is an exceptional modern reissue of one of Gibson’s most historically important Les Paul designs. Built exclusively for the 2025 NAMM Show, this guitar showcases the Custom Shop at the absolute top of its game, blending period-correct details with meticulous craftsmanship and breathtaking visual presence.
The guitar is in mint condition with the exception of a refret. The original owner immediately had it refretted with jumbo frets. The work is professionally done, and the guitar plays perfectly. Nothing else is changed, and all the original goodies are included.
The solid mahogany body and carved maple top deliver the thick, authoritative midrange and singing sustain that define a great mid-’50s Les Paul, while the wraparound bridge design enhances resonance, clarity, and direct string-to-body transfer. The pickups provide rich, articulate tones with exceptional dynamic response—clear and open when clean, and bold, harmonically complex when pushed. The neck profile feels substantial yet comfortable, inviting expressive playing and rewarding touch sensitivity. The Viceroy Brown finish adds depth and elegance, highlighting the guitar’s contours and vintage-inspired aesthetic.
As with all instruments at Mahar’s Vintage Guitars, it has been fully inspected, photographed accurately, and professionally set up to play its absolute best.
We buy, sell, and take trades.
