Gibson Custom Shop 2019 Historic Collection 1959 Les Paul VOS 60th Anniversary
This is the ‘1959 Les Paul 60th Anniversary VOS’ model, created to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the original 1959 Les Paul.
It features a hard flame maple top with a three-dimensional grain and flecks, finished in Green Lemon Fade, which reproduces the color transition from sunburst to lemon drop.
Changes from the previous year include the shape of the headstock logo, the color of the silk screen, the material of the fingerboard inlay, the un-potted custom humbucker pickups, vintage taper pots, and bumblebee-type oil capacitors.
There is very slight scuffing, but there is almost no fret wear and there are no problems with the neck or truss rod.
An anniversary switch plate and a specially designed certificate of authenticity are included.
