2020 Gibson Custom Shop CS-336 Figured Vintage Sunburst

This 2020 Gibson Custom Shop CS-336 is in excellent condition. This guitar shows only extremely faint signs of play wear throughout including some small scratches on the pickup covers, but in other respects this CS-336 is extremely tidy and vibrant! This instrument is from the Gibson Demo shop and is stamped “Demo” on the back of the peghead. We have closely inspected this guitar and don’t see any flaws or issues that warrant this “Demo” designation other than maybe the small scratches on the pickup covers. This CS-336 has a super comfortable medium “C” shaped neck profile that feels great in the hand and isn’t overly chunky or overly thin - it’s just right! The fret wire on this guitar is in excellent condition and shows no wear. The rosewood fingerboard is nice, dark and clean and this guitar has been set up so it plays beautifully up and down the fingerboard with low smooth action and spot on intonation. The electronics are original and are in perfect working order. Both original Gibson ‘57 Classic humbucking pickups sound superb. The bridge pickup delivers a gnarly articulate and woody bite with plenty of mid-range cut while the neck pickup has a rounder, warmer but still articulate and clear tone. A truly superb sounding guitar - kind of like an “airy Les Paul.” The smaller body size is super comfy and the figured maple top is a stunner! This guitar weighs 6lb 8oz and is housed in its original Gibson hardshell case. The original COA is included.
