1999 Gibson 1959 LES PAUL 40TH ANNI TOM MURPHY AGED LIMITED

One of the first 100pcs 59 Reissue Les Paul guitar that were aged by The Legendary - Tom Murphy. This Les Paul is select guitar at that time, which were painted in the Thin Lacquer finish, like the real Bursts at the very beginning. The lacquer is so thin that you can feel all the pores in the wood grain on the back. This also makes it vibrate particularly well. And this last year of "Good Wood" era selected Honduras Mahogany and stunning flame maple top, like the real vintage. Very nice subtle aging with countless hairline cracks that couldn't even be captured in the pictures. Not only looks awesome, but sounds it. Open, resonant, differentiated with a killer tone. When playing solo, you get the feeling the guitar is talking to you. Dream neck with medium to grippy profile and top-notch dressed frets. The guitar also comes with an official confirmation from Gibson that this is indeed one of the very rare 40th Anniversary Tom Murphy aged Les Paul.
