Description

Fernandes, mid-1980s, ST-155BG Brad Gills Signature

This is the “ST-155BG,” the signature model of Brad Gills, the guitarist from Night Ranger.

Positioned as the top-of-the-range model among the three signature models available at the time, its specifications are unique, including a 4-ply pickguard, a Floyd Rose “FRT-3B” bridge without fine tuners, an “SB3000” booster, and a side jack.

The truss rod is ineffective (though it does turn), making it impossible to adjust; we will only provide the instrument in its current condition. (We do not offer repair services for this item.)

The back panel is missing, and the tremolo arm has been replaced.

There are chips in the wood, and paint is peeling in multiple places around the perimeter of the back cavity. There are numerous tiny dents and scratches across the entire body, as well as some minor pockmarks and scuffing on the back of the neck and scratches on the headstock.

The frets show slight indentations where the plain strings sit, but approximately 70% remain intact and the neck is currently nearly straight.
