1995 Fender Vince Cunetto Broadacaster Butterscotch Blonde

Description

One of the first two “Relic” guitars released by the Fender Custom Shop, the other being a ‘50s “Mary Kaye” Stratocaster. Formerly owned and co-built by legendary luthier Vince Cunetto. Made as a collaboration by Fender Master Builder J.W. Black (selection of woods and building) and Vince Cunetto himself (finishing and aging), so an amazing guitar in its own right but also historically significant and with immaculate provenance. Light ash body (6.6 pounds overall) with great figure, a large “baseball bat”-profile flamed maple neck with a bit of a "v” to it, incredible attention to detail on the parts, from the taller knobs, milled jack cup, and Dakaware “innie” switch tip. Modern 4-way switching (neck, both, bridge, out of phase) from the factory. Of particular note is the “Broadcaster” decal, which had to be done as a one-off since the last ones had been made nearly a half-century earlier. A tremendous guitar and an important piece of Fender history. Comes with original John Page-signed COA and framed Vince Cunetto-signed letter of provenance. Comes in its original brown shaped hard case. Made in Corona, California, USA. Consigned.
