1971 Fender Thinline Telecaster – Jet Black
Description
Here’s a sharp 1971 Fender Thinline Telecaster in its original Jet Black finish! “Jet Black” is one of the six custom colors named for the Thinline model in the late 60s/early 70s. This particular example was definitely someone’s player, as evidenced by the wear throughout the guitar. The nut was professionally replaced, as well as the frets for excellent playability. The bridge pickup on this example is particularly hot; perfect for a strong, searing tone. This Thinline is especially light, and very loud and resonant acoustically. As with most other Fenders from this era, the neck is exceptionally comfortable up and down the fretboard.
Overall Condition: 7.5, playwear throughout, some marks and dings
