1970 Fender Telecaster Zebrawood Prototype
Description
1970/71 Fender Telecaster Zebrawood Prototype w/OHSC in Excellent Condition. This is one of only two known Zebrawood Prototypes and the only one to feature a Finished Zebrawood Fingerboard (the other has a Solid Rosewood Neck from a Rosewood Tele) making this a much more complete example. This incredibly Rare Tele was purchased in 1979 from Chris Hanleys Intergalactic Music in NYC and has been in a Private collection since. Intergalactic Music was famous for dealing with the top Rock Stars of the day like the Rolling Stones, John Entwistle, Greg Lake, John McLaughlin and a host of others. If Intergalactic had it then chances are it was celebrity owned. The only thing I see on this guitar which probably isn't original is the brass nut installed which was a popular mod in the mid-late 70's. This is a Rare Opportunity to own a Unique One-Of-A-Kind Piece of Fender History. A True Museum Piece! Includes the Original Fender Hard Shell Case and 1979 Intergalactic Music Sales Receipt.
