1978 Fender Telecaster Sunburst
Description
Sunburst, rosewood fretboard, refretted (you’re welcome), with a gorgeous ash body and rare rosewood board. Plays and sounds great with great sustain and remarkably good pickups.
The body looks like a one piece but on close inspection it has a small wing on the bass side. The bridge has brass saddles and we suggest you leave them on the guitar. The back of the neck has the poly finish removed and it feels more like a 50’s vibe. Has no route under the pickguard. This was played professionally so it has all the dings and scratches from years of entertaining club goers. The headstock has yellowed nicely from years of bars and stage lights. It’s heavy at just over 10 pounds yet is a real charming beat up old Tele that sounds and looks great. It’s ash, the tree god makes for Telecasters and it’s rosewood as few teles are. Comes with a reissue tweed case.
