Description

Here we have a wonderful 1953 Fender Telecaster in Blond! A blackguard is a staple for so many players; with this one, it’s easy to understand why! The neck has been played in beautifully for a smooth, comfortable feel, and the first five frets were replaced to keep it playing great. You can see on the fretboard in that area just how much this guitar has been played and loved for its sound throughout its life. There is a small crack in the body under the pickguard just above the neck pickup, but this seems to have been filled with glue and is now completely stable. This guitar was once embellished on the pickguard, which has since been removed. The evidence of this can be seen under black light due to the lines created by the absence of the design.

Overall Condition: 7.5, neck finish gently played off, edge wear throughout, and patina brings this to its current rating
