1969 Fender Stratocaster: All Original (w/ HSC + bridge cover) Sunburst

Description

1969 Fender Stratocaster – All Original – Sunburst – Grey Bottom Pickups – OHSC

Bay Area Vintage Guitars is proud to offer this exceptional 1969 Fender Stratocaster, finished in its original 3-Tone Sunburst and remaining all-original throughout, including the frets, finish, pickups, electronics, and hardware. The guitar includes its original bridge cover and an early 1960s Fender hardshell case.

This Stratocaster carries serial number 238164 with a neck date of 22 MAR 69, placing it squarely in one of Fender’s most iconic late-’60s production years. The rosewood fingerboard, large headstock, and original grey-bottom single-coil pickups deliver the unmistakable Strat tone that defined rock, blues, and psychedelic music at the end of the decade—clear, articulate, and dynamically responsive.

Condition is very good, vintage. The guitar shows honest nicks, dings, and light playwear consistent with decades of use. The back of the body displays natural finish imprinting from extended time stored in its case, a common cosmetic trait seen on original nitrocellulose Fender finishes from this era. All components remain original, unmodified, and fully functional.
