1984 Fender Stratocaster Candy Apple Red

Here is a real transition Strat . This one is a 1984 Fender Stratocaster , it has most of the features of a 'Dan Smith' Strat with 2 knobs and the input jack on the pickguard , the headstock logo is the later version without the 70's Fender font , the later 'Dan Smith' also had the revised headstock logo . This also maintains the earlier string trees and smaller headstock . The pickups are original to the guitar but are not the hotter X-1 pickups. To Stratocaster enthusiasts the original 'Smith' models were produced from 1981-83, this one does have a neck date of 1984 but maintains most of the 'Smith' features . All said, this guitar is in mint shape and plays and sounds great , it still has traces of the original plastic on the pickguard ! W/Gig Bag
