1969 Fender Stratocaster "with Synchronized Tremolo Decal"

Description

This is a late 60's Stratocaster featuring 4-bolt joint and a large-head with a “with Synchro” decal specification.
This is the final era of bodies cut from the template that has continued since the 1950s release, featuring a round-shaped pickup cavity.

The neck was manufactured in January 1967.
It is likely that the neck was produced in early 1967, when Stratocaster production was curtailed,
and was used after Stratocaster production resumed in 1968.
Consequently, the machine heads are not F-Key, but the original Kluson Double Line models used through 1967 are fitted.
The “with Synchro” decal adopted after 1968 is present, and the 1969 code number is stamped on the underside of the neck heel before painting.

While there are some minor signs of wear and weathering typical of vintage items, it remains in excellent overall condition.
The armbar has been replaced with a later model.
