1967 Fender Stratocaster Sunburst (Yes, 1967...)
Description
This is a very clean, excellent, fantastic and rare 1967 Fender Stratocaster. All parts date to 1967, potentiometers, neck date (Sept 67) etc. The factory original frets show very little wear, beautiful Brazilian fretboard is in great condition, perfectly broken in but not worn. Over all this guitar is in great, lightly played condition. Weight is a perfect 7.5 Lbs, The original, black-bottom pickups sound strong, sparkly, full and fantastic. This one is a really good player. Also stays in tune when using the tremolo. There is some play wear, most noticeable on the bottom edges and the arm rest area.
*At some point inside the back of the tremolo cavity, a screw for the trem claw broke. someone just added a screw next to it (See photos). Again, this is inside the guitar, repairable if desired but is perfectly functional and un noticeable inside the back of the guitar.
The current (2025) Vintage Guitar Price Guide has these starting at $20,000 to $25K. I am pricing this one below the lower range. Comes in original hard case. All specs are incredibly favorable. (See Below)...
