Description

From my personal collection; easily one of the most stunning rosewood board Strats I’ve ever seen and it’s got all the goods: 100% original, lightweight, gorgeous sunburst finish (no clown burst), L-series number, spaghetti logo, clay dots, green guard, super hot pickups that read in high 6k range, lots of fret height so it plays as good as it sounds. The overall condition is ridiculous, only a handful of dings keep it from dead-mint status, and the black no-logo case is literally like-new with a nice array of case candy. The backstory of this beauty is rather poignant; some kid got it new in ‘64 and barely played it before he shipped out to Vietnam where he was killed in action…the guitar sat under his bed for decades before finding its way to me.
