1957 Fender Stratocaster – Sunburst

Description

Keeping it classic with this 1957 Fender Stratocaster in Sunburst! ’57 is such a staple year for these instruments, especially if you like a V-shaped neck. Guitars from this era are notorious for their full/hard V profiles, and this one is no different! It remains all original, including the frets/nut. This guitar was someone’s player, as it features a healthy amount of wear, particularly on the fretboard, back of the neck, and back of the body. When we received this guitar, it came in with a 1956 Precision Bass in Sunburst, also owned by the same original owner, Rick Munro. Munro was from B.C. Canada, and played in a band called Bob Davies and the Rhythm Jesters. Rick was their lead guitarist. Inside this original tweed side pocket case, you will find a business card, luggage tag, and album photos, all from Munro. This one is up for purchase now, and if you would like to purchase the pair (guitar and bass), don’t hesitate to call!
