1955 Fender Stratocaster – Citron Cream
Description
This 1955 Fender Stratocaster comes in its original, custom-ordered Citron Cream finish. Underneath this original pickguard, you will find a piece of tape labeled “DAL 80820 Special” noting the exact color code of this finish. The code corresponds to an Oldsmobile color from the mid-50s. To our knowledge, this is the only Fender instrument to receive this finish. Not only is this an incredibly rare piece, but it also happens to be an exceptional guitar. These frets have plenty of life left in them, and the beautifully shaped neck feels terrific in hand. The guitar itself is extraordinarily resonant, whether amplified or unplugged.
Overall Condition: 8.5, weather checking, light wear throughout
