1954 Fender Stratocaster Sunburst with Fender Tweed Tremolux

We are pleased to offer this 1954 Fender Stratocaster, with Fender Tweed Tremolux amp. Stunning museum quality examples, with amazing provenance. Along with photos of the original owner playing the guitar and amp, this is also the same Strat featured on the cover of the August 2024 issue of Vintage Guitar Magazine (along with its history/story). Serial #0386. TG 5-54 pencil neck date, 6-54 cavity date, 4-54 trem spring cavity date, with the pots dating 304-341. The guitar is near mint, and the finest example we've ever come across! Playability is exceptional, with low action down the the length of the fretboard. The neck has a full, very soft V profile, and couldn't be more comfortable in your hands. The original frets are in great shape as well. As you can see, there are 7 screws in the pickguard. As the article in Vintage Guitar magazine says, they are by all accounts believed to be original from the factory. The bakelite covers and knobs are all in tact. The guitar has original black bobbin pickups, with original wiring, along with its original 3-way switch. All three original single coil pickups are balanced, clear, and sound out of this world good (especially paired with the Tremolux). The neck measure 5.33k, the middle 5.49k, and the bridge 5.38k. Collectors dream!!! Clean/Rare original poodle fitted case included, with the key, along with the original trem arm!
The 1x12 1955 Tweed Tremolux is clean, and all original, with the exception of the electrolytic's. Very rare and early example, that sounds incredible. The tremolo is pure magic! And the tweed break up is as good as it gets. The original cover and handle are both also included.
