1961 Fender Precision Bass Sunburst - Factory Refin

This Fender Precision Bass was made in the USA in 1961. It received a factory refin in the late 1960's - there are large numbers stamped in the neck pocket, and the finish has color pattern typical for 1968-1970. The parts are mostly original - the pickups are original and sound great, and the pots date to the 47th week of 1960. There is some newer wiring and the tone cap is more recent. The only other thing that is not original is 4 of the fretboard dots have been replaced with pearl dots. All in all this is a great sounding and playing slab-board p-bass. It has been pro-setup in our store and it comes with a non original hard case.
