1963 Fender Precision Bass – Blond
Description
This beautiful 1963 Fender Precision Bass comes in its original Blond finish! This guitar has taken on a warm, creamy hue and looks gorgeous next to the celluloid tortoise pickguard. While Blond finishes at this time are a bit more opaque, underneath this see-through finish, you will see some beautiful Ash grain. While this is hard to capture in photos, it is prevalent to the naked eye. There is a faint outline of the letters “JC” on the pickguard just above the knobs, where a couple of stickers used to be. The veneer fretboard is in excellent shape and looks great with clay dots and nicely figured maple throughout. The hardware has taken on even patina with the pickup covers still retaining their chrome luster.
Overall Condition: 8, overall finish is nicely preserved, with even patina on both the neck and body, hardware is also nicely patinaed
