Hardware: The bridge has been replaced with a Mustang bridge. The original bridge is included in the case. All other hardware is original.

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Fender guitar has aged well and is in good condition. The finish is glossy with checking, some light scratches, and some shallow dents scattered throughout. The edges of the body show some shallow dents, some of which have been retouched. The metal hardware shows some light tarnish with age.

Serial Number: 69753

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The frets are medium with minor play wear. John Oates had set up the guitar with flatwound strings and we've left them on the instrument. The serial number dates to 1961.
