1989 Fender Japan TL-52 120 Extrad Natural

Super rare, TL52-120 first year Extrad, the highest model Telecaster made by Fujigen Gakki in 1989. Simply amazing Japanese telecaster surpassing the highest-end JV serial telecasters I’ve had.
"EXTRAD SERIES.." According to Fender Japan “..lies in meticulously selected wood and painstaking lacquer finishes," it adopted a semi-custom system allowing specification of body wood material and body color.
This amazing example features a two-piece, book-matched ash body finished in very thin nitrocellulose lacquer, black guard pick guard (with additional factory installed screws), USA made pickups and electronics, vintage-style tuners and slotted screw hardware. The guitar is huge in mojo with honest play (fret and neck) wear, buckle rash, scratches and dings and areas where the ambered nitro finish is worn and chipped through. The neck is straight with a comfortable medium C profile and low action. All electronics function perfectly. Looks, plays and sounds like an original 1952 tele.
