Electronics: The pickups have both been replaced, and the wiring harness has been modified. An in/out of phase toggle switch has been added, and other solder joints have been touched up. The pots and blade switch are original, and the pot codes date to 1966.

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Fender Esquire shows heavy cosmetic wear, with the body finish heavily faded and yellowed with age. There is checking and various small dings on the body, and the back of the neck is worn nicely smooth.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action, and the frets are low with mild play wear. The serial number dates to a range from 1966 to 1968; the pot codes and neck stamp date the guitar to 1966.
