1966 Fender Electric XII – Charcoal Frost

Description

This 1966 Fender Electric XII is remarkably rare in its original Charcoal Frost Metallic finish! We love seeing an Electric XII in a custom color, and seeing it in this well-preserved Charcoal Frost finish blows our minds; it’s undoubtedly the only one we’ve seen! We affectionately call this one “Pearl,” thanks to the name spelled out in pearloid letters under the bridge. Based on the history of this rare piece, we believe these letters obscure two small holes from old-style letters. Aside from some mild weather checking and playwear, the finish has held up spectacularly well. This particular instrument certainly has that Fender jangle these Electric XIIs are so known for. A studio staple that just so happens to be a stunning beauty, this original example in a rare custom color is the one to get!

Overall Condition: 9, weather checking and light playwear
