Here we have a very special Ltd Custom ’62 Stratocaster from the Fender Custom Shop! This one has a reverse headstock and a reverse angle bridge pickup. It was built for the Fall 2024 Fender Custom Shop Online Dealer Event, a NAMM-style showcase of one-off builds offered directly to the dealer network.

Other specs include an ash body, roasted quartersawn maple neck, slab rosewood board, clay dot inlays, 9.5” radius, jumbo 6100 fret wire, and gold hardware. It has hand wound Fat 60s pickups with an RWRP middle pickup.

The guitar is in great shape. It’s a relic obviously, and the wear appears to be factory original beyond some light pick marks on the guard.

This one weighs 7lbs 6oz. The neck measures .790 to .930 at the 1st and 12th frets. It has a 60s oval C neck with the finish nicely worn at the factory. The reverse bridge pickup is a nice touch, it enhances the attack of the bass strings while mellowing out the treble side just a touch. It’s a great player, loaded with features!

It includes the original hardshell case, COA, hang tag, floor traveler, tremolo arm, bridge cover, sticker, picks and paperwork.
