Fender Custom Shop 2019 MBS Custom 1961 Telecaster Lush Closet Classic Master Built by Dennis Galuszka
This is a “Custom 1961 Telecaster” model built by master builder Dennis Galuszka.
This instrument features a “Lush Closet Classic” finish, carefully maintained to preserve its pristine condition while authentically recreating the appearance of age-related wear—including paint cracks and slight tarnishing on metal parts.
This glossy paint finish is buffed like NOS, but its defining feature is that it is thinner than the standard “Closet Classic” finish.
The fingerboard features dark shade 3A grade rosewood (listed as “Really Dark RW” on the spec sheet), while the straight-grained maple neck sports a slim 60 Style Oval C profile. The pickup is a hand-wound “63 TELE” with Josefina Campos’s signature.
It's in excellent condition with minimal wear, and the neck and truss rod are in perfect condition.
