Fender Custom Shop 2021 Limited Edition ’62 Bone Tone Stratocaster Journeyman Relic
This is the limited-edition '62 Bone Tone Stratocaster Journeyman Relic model in Dirty Shell Pink, introduced in 2021.
Based on the 1962 Stratocaster, this limited edition features unique specifications, including a slab-laminated maple fingerboard and gold hardware.
It is equipped with three hand-wound “Master Design Bone Tone” pickups with “M.E.” signature. The 'Strat 1/2 Blender' wiring system enables the neck pickup to be blended when the bridge pickup or the bridge and centre pickup combination is selected.
The pickguard has been replaced. The current pickguard is a Monteux “Retro Vibe Series 62 SC Pickguard Relic”; the original pickguard is missing.
There is evidence of shaving and chamfering on the 1st string side of the pickup cover.
The strap pins have been replaced, and there is a circular dent caused by excessive tightening of the end pin.
The frets show slight wear on the high-string side of frets 1-5 and have approximately 80% intact overall. There are no issues with the neck or truss rod operation.
