Fender Custom Shop 2020 Limited 1959 Telecaster Journeyman Relic
This is the limited-production Aged Fire Mist Silver ‘1959 Telecaster Journeyman Relic’ model, produced for the 2020 Summer Event.
The body features a Journeyman Relic Flash Coat Lacquer finish – an ultra-thin lacquer finish replicating fine dents and weather checking, finished without a final buff. The back of the neck features a Heavy Relic finish with stripped paint.
It features transitional specifications with an 8-point mounted single-ply pickguard. The neck grip is a '60 Style C shape, the fingerboard radius is 9.5R, and the frets are narrow-tall 6105 type.
It is equipped with hand-wound 1958 Tele Pickups with ‘LD’ signature, and the controls are wired in current configuration.
The saddles have been replaced.
Fret wear is minimal, with no issues to the neck or truss rod.
