Fender Custom Shop '59 Esquire Custom Journeyman Relic 2018 - Faded Lake Placid Blue

Description

Here is a cool Fender Custom Shop '59 Esquire Custom! This Journeyman Relic guitar is from 2018 and in excellent condition.

This model has a double bound body, and came factory with a "value added" upgrade kit which is currently installed. This is setup as a Telecaster with two pickups and normal 3-way modern Tele switching. The original Esquire guard and control plate are included. Beyond that, it's traditional Tele specs including an alder body, maple neck, slab rosewood board, and vintage clay dot inlays. It's loaded with a hand wound '58 Tele bridge pickup, and hand wound Twisted Tele neck pickup.

This one seems to have been played moderately. The wear appears to be Fender factory aging. The frets are in good shape with maybe a hint of use. The 59 C shaped neck has light figuring, and the board is dark AAA rosewood. It has a 9.5" radius and 6105 fret wire.

This one weighs 7lbs 7oz. The neck measures .850 to .980 at the 1st and 12th. It's a modern C down low with a touch more shoulder up high. The guitar is loud and resonant acoustically with a nice twang. The strings growl when you dig in. It has a brighter mid-range tone about it, though still full frequency with good clarity.

Ships in the original case and includes the Esquire guard, single pickup pre-wired control plate, COA, hang tag, traveler, bridge cover, picks, strap, design guide, and other paperwork.
