American Vintage '52 Telecaster LIGHTWEIGHT and FABULOUS example.
HEY! It weighs 7.1 lbs!! YEAH! Color is GREAT too.
OK.... stay with me...THIS guitar has the feel and vibe you SHOULD want from a "re-creation'. Around 2015 Fender set out to make this model more ACCURATE (compared to earlier versions), and they did with this one.
All original with Tweed case and paperwork. Here are the other
"specs" - Neck "depth" .91" at first fret, 1.01.9" at 12th. Nut width 1.67".
Meaning; it feels like many of the worlds favorite original examples.
I know, as I've bought and sold (since the mid-'70's) several dozen early '50's blackguards AND kept / played some of the "best". THIS one really hits the mark.
There's NO fretwear. There are a few little dings on edge (SO..... if you're anal about that move on). With the thin finish it likely happened being moved around haphazardly since it's obviously not been played much. (SEE PHOTOS).
SO.... here's your chance to get a FINE '52 reissue that won't break the bank!!! Price is firm (it's THAT good).
