1998 Epiphone Les Paul Standard Flame Top

This 1998 Epiphone Les Paul Standard was built in Korea and is in very good condition. This guitar shows signs of age and play wear throughout including some small dings around the body edges and some light scratches on the pickguard and on the peghead face. Otherwise, this guitar is in great shape and has a killer looking flamed top! This guitar has been upgraded with a very nice and tidy Emerson wiring harness and a set of Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro Slash pickups turning this guitar into an absolutely killer sounding machine! This Les Paul has a super comfortable feeling medium “C” shaped neck profile and 1 11/16” nut width. This neck feels great in the hand and isn’t overly chunky or overly slim - it’s right in the middle. The fret wire on this instrument is in great condition, has been dressed and is free of any dents or divots. This guitar has been professionally set up and it plays outstanding up and down the rosewood fingerboard with low smooth action and spot on intonation. The Seymour Duncan Alnico II Slash humbucking pickups sounds incredible and deliver some tight, woody punch that is perfectly suited for most styles but really excels for classic rock and blues. If you are after a killer Lester with a righteous top and top notch upgrades, then this one is a winner… for not a ton of dough!
