This Sunburst 1966 Epiphone Casino was custom-ordered with factory humbuckers! The Casino typically came with dual P-90s, though this example features two mini humbucking pickups, a feature typically seen on the Riviera at this time. The hang tag calls this guitar an “E230TDV Special,” noting the model and that it is a special order. Aside from the pickups, this guitar features the standard ‘66 Casino specs, including parallelogram inlays, a white pickguard, and a “trem-o-tone” tailpiece with a wooden block insert. As a hollow body, this guitar sounds beautiful acoustically, though plugged in, you will love the strong, clear tones of these custom-ordered pickups!
