At its core, Tonverk provides eight audio tracks for capturing your favorite electronic sounds as rich multisampled instruments, leveraging the legendary Elektron sequencing workflow to provide a deep platform for music creation. Beyond these eight tracks, an additional eight tracks are available for creating busses, effects sends, and master mixes, inviting external instruments and adding captivating effects to take your sound further on stage or in the studio. As a multisampler, Tonverk is a perfect portable palette for all your favorite sound colors, allowing you to capture your favorite sounds from your studio as samples for further experimentation. Using the powerful Auto Sampler process, you can define a range of notes and velocities to capture from your favorite MIDI capable instruments, and let Tonverk quickly generate richly detailed multisample instruments by using its MIDI output and audio input simultaneously. In the eight audio tracks, you can sequence these sounds polyphonically across dedicated 256-step sequencers, complete with all the tools and tricks that make Elektron devices some of the best sequencers in existence. In addition to multisamples, tracks may also be configured as single sample players for mono or stereo sounds, along with powerful tools for adjusting playback behavior and loop points. You can also create subtracks with eight monophonic tracks in a single main track, perfect for sequencing a kit of drum sounds, or use tracks as dedicated MIDI sequencers for your external instruments. As of firmware version 1.1.0, Tonverk also includes a powerful granular sampler machine called Grainer, perfect for total transformations of sampled audio into unique and sparkling timbres.
