Electronic Audio Experiments Model feT (Authorized Dealer)

Description

The Electronic Audio Experiments Model feT occupies a space somewhere between overdrive, preamp, and amplifier replacement. Designed around the legendary Sunn Model T amplifier, it captures the thick, dark, and commanding voice that made those amps favorites among doom, post-rock, and heavy experimental players, while offering far more versatility than its reputation might suggest. On its own, the Model feT delivers a rich, harmonically dense character with a slightly mid-scooped voice and a feel that always seems to live on the edge of breakup. Push it harder and it moves into crushing overdrive territory, but it also excels as a foundation for stacking fuzzes and boosts.

What separates the Model feT from many amp-in-a-box pedals is the inclusion of an emulated power amp section, allowing for huge output, increased headroom, and direct use into power amps, cab simulators, or recording interfaces. The dual-channel Normal and Brite controls let you blend thickness and bite independently, while the interactive FMV EQ behaves much like the original amp. It feels less like a traditional distortion pedal and more like a full amplifier front end under your feet.
